Sing the Spot: Where Music Meets the Landscape
Where Music Meets the Landscape
At its roots, Sing the Spot is an effort to rekindle our love of concerts.
In a time when stages went quiet and live shows became distant memories, Sing the Spot set out to reignite our connection with music — not in concert halls or clubs, but in the open air, across the hidden gems of Attiki.
Produced for ERT, Greece’s national broadcaster, Sing the Spot reimagines the live music format. Each episode features performances by Greek artists across genres, captured in raw, unfiltered spaces — from the industrial edges of the Port of Piraeus to the peaceful heights of Tourkovounia.
HÄST initiated the original concept and pitch, and led the entire production from start to finish. Working closely with director Nikos Voulgaris, we shaped a show that feels both intimate and cinematic. The challenge was clear — make each episode feel like a private gig, unfolding naturally in front of the camera.
We placed special emphasis on location scouting, treating each site as a co-star. Every setting had to carry a story, a texture, a mood that elevated the music. From abandoned quarries to seaside platforms, the landscapes became part of the rhythm.

In parallel, HÄST managed the talent recruitment, curating a diverse roster of well-known and emerging artists. Names like Whereswilder and Monsieur Minimal brought their sound to the series, each leaving a different mark on the show's evolving identity.
The visual language of Sing the Spot followed the tone of the project — natural, earthy, handmade. Its design leaned into simplicity and warmth, echoing the colors and tones of each location and creating a familiar atmosphere for the viewer.
What started as a response to a moment in time became a timeless celebration of music, place, and creative freedom. Sing the Spot isn’t just a show. It’s a reminder that music always finds a way.
